John and Ian from Prescott College, USA, volunteered at Eternal Farm and Community School for about one week. They were quite busy digging the garden, preparing the garden beds, planting varieties of vegetables, teaching at the community school, making the school area green through planting several trees, etc.

Volunteer and Learn Nepal has been assisting community schools in many ways, providing volunteers with opportunities to get involved in various activities at community schools and get first-hand experience working with students and teachers.
On Friday and Saturday (August 28th and 29th ), our volunteers Ann Wong (U.K), John Finefrock and Ian from Prescott College, Arizona, USA, accompanied by school teachers and some students, actively participated in the School Painting Program under Construction Project. They painted three rooms of Nilganga School, located nearby in Thamel. It was indeed great fun to work collectively while exchanging skills and innovative ideas. The volunteers also distributed stationery items to the students.
